Sample Employee Bi-Weekly Timesheet

For start-up businesses, since they have fewer numbers of employees, using the Excel version of a timesheet for the bi-weekly salary can be enough. It is not necessary yet to use paid programs with small numbers of employees. They could save up so much just by using the templates that are already available in Excel and modifying them to suit their needs and preferences. The bi-weekly timesheet in Excel is straightforward, where you will see the company name that can be edited on the top of the page along with the company information (address, phone number, city, zip, fax number, etc.).

A bi-weekly timesheet template that you can find in Excel will be able to track all the employees’ working hours, overtime, annual leave, sick leave days, and vacation days to make sure that their working hours are correct. This will affect the bi-weekly payroll that the finance department needs to manage. Other than that, if the company is still using timecards to log their employees’ work hours, the bi-weekly timecards will be able to help the finance department in tracking their working hours as well. Since not all companies pay their employees monthly, for the ones that are doing a fortnightly salary base, it can be considered as a semi-monthly payment or salary structure.
